Starting the Year Off Right

On New Year's Day (and the last day of the hunting season), Ty took Cade hunting with him. Last year when they went it was not a successful trip. Cade did not want to be quiet. This trip was much better. When they first got there Cade fell asleep under Ty's hunting gear.

I am sure Ty thought he was snuggling in for a long winter's nap.

But the nap did not last long. Cade was up before Ty knew it. Below he is using his Papa's range finder to look for deer.

He thought there were deer behind every bush.
At the end of the hunting trip, Ty and Cade were all smiles. Cade was so excited because they actually saw a deer. Cade had a hard time understanding why Ty would not shoot the tiny deer.

There is always next year!!!
